Welcome to Aston Well Dressers. We are a friendly group from the village of Aston on Trent in South Derbyshire who enjoy keeping alive the Derbyshire tradition of well dressing. One weekend a year we hold a well dressing festival in our village to raise money for local groups and charities, and because we enjoy it! We also run other fund raising events through the year, check out the calendar below for details. Well Dressing in Aston first began in 1997 following a talk from the then coordinator of the Belper Well Dressing Group. A group of volunteers formed the Aston Well Dressers and the ambitious plan of producing a well dressing and festival was underway. The rest, as they say, is history.
